How the system works
These fine screens are fitted with moving and fixed stepped bar units which gradually extract the captured solids from the liquid flow. These SNOEK FINE SCREENS for in- or outdoor mounting, have been specially developed for the processing of medium-sized to high volumes of screened waste.Due to their simple functioning, these self-cleaning SNOEK FINE SCREENS are blockage-free and require little maintenance. As the process is discontinuous, a layer of screened waste accumulates against the fine screen. This layer of screening waste further ensures an optimal fine sieving of the smaller solids. An initial dewatering of the screening waste takes place in the dewatering zone of the fine screen.
Fabrication
These fine screens are largely made with SS 1.4301 as standard and are available with 1 to 6 mm bar spacing. The drive mechanism is installed entirely above the level of the liquid thus ensuring minimal wear, tear and easy maintenance.
