These BAR SCREENS come with a frame into which the bars which form the screen are fitted. These bars are made from mild steel strip and are joined to each other on the reverse side. A plate is mounted above the channel covering. A central axle is mounted on the frame with 2 sprocket wheels which drive the conveyor chain. The scraper blades which carry the waste accumulated in front of the screen upwards are mounted on the conveyor chain. The number of scraper blades is determined by the quantity of waste. The rotary scraper blades remove the waste, which is kept back from the liquid flow by the screen, and carry it up to the discharge point. This waste is then collected in a container, a screening waste press, or is transported on a conveyor belt, etc. The screen can be fitted level or at an angle.

These bar screens are made from SS 1.4306 as standard and are available with a bar separation from 0.5 to 50 mm. Above the channel the screens are fully covered. The drive, which comes with a torque limiter, is fitted outside the cover.
